Happy Goth
We went out for a photo shoot today, with model CP.
My idea was to do a shoot with a bit of contrast; an ‘unhappy’ person, in a place that is suppose to be a happy place, a park with stuff that kids play on and have fun.
Besides being what I think was one of the hottest days so far this Spring, everyone had fun and we ended up with some very nice shots.
Thanks to my ‘crew’ who made the shoot possible, Lawrence, the VAL (Voice Activated Lighting operator), Zelda for the make up, Reno for guarding our ‘stuff’ and CP for having the guts to face this hot African sun with wearing all black clothes, and a big thank you to the guy who invented bottled water!

(please note: I am not sure if Goth people are unhappy, or just look the part; I don’t know about their culture, but Goth was the easiest way for me to describe what I wanted to accomplish. So if any Goths are reading this, feel free to leave a comment and correct me if I’m wrong in assuming that Goths are unhappy)

THE PHOTOS ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!!! SEE NOW WHAT YOU MEANT WITH THE SLIDE REFLECTION PHOTO
Thank you. The make up really helped a lot!!
I don’t think all Goths are unhappy.
Unhappy people are however categorised by their ability to wear a mask so that other people can’t see through it. That makes a clown your number one example of an unhappy person in a happy place.
That makes so much sense.. Thanks!
