I am a freelance photographer based in Pretoria and my passion lies with people photography. My goal is to create quality images with visual impact to showcase the beauty that I see in everyone.

Being an ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic person, I take photographs whenever and wherever I can. Although I have had a camera in my hand since I can remember, I only started taking it to a more professional level during the past five years.

My passion for photography started as a young boy when I attempted to develop a film from my parents’ camera by holding it under running water. Needless to say, the end result was not what I expected.

Thus my mission started to learn more about all aspects of photography.

The highlight of my career to date is that of assisting a photographer friend at an event honouring The Most Rev. Dr. Desmond Tutu. Never have I met another human being with more passion and zest for life and I am honoured at the privilege to have spoken to the Archbishop and take photographs of him.

When I am not behind the camera I enjoy exercise and do this by sweating it out at the gym or simply increasing my heart rate at the thrill of dancing with fire. For peace and tranquillity I turn to my hobby of bonsai keeping or simply playing with my dogs.
